We offer a variety of materials including brochures, magnets, phone stickers and coloring books.
We also have developed a train-the-trainer program, Caution Curriculum. The Caution Curriculum is
an educational program designed for parents and caregivers of children age 0 to 5 years. It is a
"train the trainer" program with handbooks and transparencies or slides to guide the teacher and

Carolinas Poison Center's Community Outreach participates in health fairs and presentations.
Pre-School Programs
Young children are at greatest risk for unintentional poisonings. "Quills Up – Stay Away!" is a
poison awareness program featuring Spike, the porcupine puppet.
